ON THE JOB ACTIONS
Be Curious
Understand the organisation by drawing a systems diagram showing the main units, how they relate to each other and their main goals. Take specific actions at least once a month to develop a network of contacts within the organisation. Be open about what you are doing and try to build relationships of mutual benefit.

Experience
Look for opportunities to work on any collaborative programmes or to be seconded to other parts of the organisations in order to broaden your knowledge.
