ON THE JOB ACTIONS
Awareness
Investigate your organisation’s policies and activities designed to encourage diversity and inclusion. Put them into practice in your own area wherever you can.

Action
Look out for how policies, systems, and processes reflect diversity, equity, and inclusivity. Social change is happening and it’s important to be respectful of the trends e.g. between generations. Think through the concerns and social customs of different individuals before discussions/meetings and act accordingly.

Policies, Systems, and Processes
Use expertise either internally in the organisation or, if necessary, engage with external experts to ensure that policies, systems, and processes are founded on diversity, equity, and inclusivity.

Challenge Assumptions
Think about any assumptions you might make without realising that based on certain traits. Think about what assumptions people might make about you. Question whether these assumptions are based on evidence or are helpful e.g. dyslexia means you can't work with spreadsheets.
